G/D3 Mixolydian Scale

The Mixolydian scale is a seven-note scale that shares a close relationship with the major scale. In fact, it's essentially a major scale with the seventh note flattened. This gives it a distinctive, "open" sound that's often associated with folk, jazz, blues, and rock music.

The G Mixolydian scale is G, A, B, C, D, E, F. 
Characteristics
